Fulfilment Representative driver

Job Description

The job holder is responsible for the timely and accurate delivery of customer orders by use of a vehcle whilst upholding excellent level of customer service and after-sales support for maximum customer satisfaction in line with the Saharan Fresh Way of selling and the organizational strategic aspiration.

Responsibilities 

  • Order Fulfilment: Deliver customers’ orders in a timely and accurate manner by ensuring adherence to delivery manifest.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Manage customer experience in liaison with the presales sales representative by ensuring a flawless and timely execution of promises made to the vendors regarding product delivery to drive sales volumes and maintain healthy mutual relationship between Saharan fresh and the customers.
  • Account Management: Ensure that the collections for the day are tallying with orders placed, delivered and the reconciliations done on daily basis to ensure alignment with other departments for performance tracking
  • Proper Resource Utilization: Efficiently use company resources to ensure optimal returns for the Company. This includes ensuring that the motorbike, DMS handsets and other assets as may be allocated are in proper working conditions and available for inspection should the need arise.
  • Follow the laid-out route plan, deliver ordered produce / products to vendors in the assigned route as per the delivery manifest.
  • Deliver goods at the scheduled time, keeping a clear log on delivery times for all orders, accounting for all assigned crates, and ensuring payment for goods upon delivery.
  • Timely collection of customer returns and ensuring the end of the day stock reconciliation completed within the set timelines.
  • Inspect the assigned delivery assets i.e. DMS handset and crates and verify that they are maintained as per the set standards and are available for inspection where need be.
  • Develop rapport, understand, and anticipate the customers’ needs and initiate actions to solve them or escalate as required.
  • Maintain quality customer service in the delivery of the customer’s promise.
  • Observe the vehicle maintenance schedule, fuel the truck when needed and report any mechanical problems immediately to your supervisor. 

Qualifications

  • Valid Driving license.
  • At least 3 years driving experience
  • At least 3 years work experience in a similar capacity in the FMCG industry
  • Valid certificate of good conduct

  • Possess a CSEE certificate, a valid certificate of good conduct, and a clean and valid driver’s license.
